EVS Project
I am writing this post to summarize my experiance I had doing the Environmental Studies project I got as part of a group. Our topic was "Plastic waste reduction in campus". At first we thought this topic is so boring, we are doing this stuff since school. But seeing the enthusiasm of other groups we also started working on it. We started with discussing what can be done with plastic produced in campus. We went to canteen to collect the data about number of plastic bottles and cups used daily. The number came out to be a considerable amount and we decided to focus our work on reducing plastic waste from canteen. We started thinking about the solutions and got a lot of help from our faculty. We got some ideas like recycling the plastic cups and bottles from canteen waste, telling students to bring their own cups.
